Confined Space Entry

This 8 hour course covers the basic requirements of the new OSHA confined space standard 29 CFR 1910.146. Specific topics include: Evaluation, Atmospheric Monitoring, Hazard Recognition, Personal Protective Equipment, Permit Requirements, Duties of Entrants, Attendants, Supervisors, and Emergency Rescue. Hands-on portions include use of direct reading instruments, completing and entry permit, and SCBA usage.
