Lockout /Tagout (Isolation of Hazardous Energy): This course follows guidelines established by OSHA 1910.147. Students learn how to identify hazardous energy sources such as electricity, steam, hydraulic, etc. and how to properly isolate the energy. A discussion of tags, locks, valve boxes, outlet covers, and other systems are demonstrated.
