40 Hour Hazardous Materials Training: This course is designed for employees working in the removal, transport, or disposal of hazardous substances and-or any other activities which may expose or potentially expose workers to hazardous substances and health hazards. Topics include, but are not limited to: 29 CFR 1910.120 Overview, Chemistry of Hazardous Materials, Hazard Recognition and Overview, Medical Surveillance, Site Safety and Control, Toxicology and Industrial Hygiene, Noise and Heat Stress, Air Monitoring, Confined Space, Container Handling, Personal Protective Equipment, and Decontamination.
